I work in Washington, D.C., as an editor for the Dana Press, the publishing wing of a nonprofit that focuses on health and education. I started in January 2003. I edit
I lived in St. Petersburg, Fla., from November 2000 to September 2002. There, I was a member of the Tampa Bay Symphony. In the summer of 2000, I was a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund copy editing intern at The Denver Post. I volunteered and learned Hebrew on a kibbutz in Israel for 3 months in the spring of 2000. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in December 1999, with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, News-Editorial.
I spent the Fall '99 semester at the Danish School of Journalism and Hogeschool van Utrecht, in Holland.
I grew up in Normal, Illinois. I graduated from Normal Community High School in 1995.
